What does a digital build cost?
The short answer
The price depends less on the length of the wish list than on the number of open decisions. A clearly scoped web presence, a sales build and a customer portal sit in different orders of magnitude — what moves the number inside each of them is whether audience, offer and message were settled beforehand. That is why the figure comes after the first conversation and not before it.

Uncertainty is the most expensive line item
Every open question gets answered eventually: inside the project it costs working hours, in the conversation beforehand it costs a quarter of an hour. That is why the offer and the message are settled first, not last.
A range when the scope is unclear
A range says what the scope moves. A fixed price without a settled scope is either padded or renegotiated later, and both cost more than an honest range. Where the scope is clear, the price is fixed. The amounts for the core services are on the Services page.
The cheapest start is rarely the smallest
A presence without a foundation gets built twice. Settling audience, offer and message is the smallest line item in any proposal, and it decides what has to be built at all.
Common questions
Why is there no fixed price while the scope is unclear?
Because the price follows the scope and the scope is only settled after the first conversation. After that you receive a proposal with a fixed scope and a fixed price. The amounts for the core services are on the Services page.
What is the smallest sensible start?
Settling audience, offer and core message. It is the smallest line item and usually saves more in the step after it than it costs.
