02 — Website & Content

A website that proves. Not one that claims.

At CoderConda you have your website built, copy included, for €1,950 one-off, then €50 a month; it is live on your domain seven days after the positioning is signed off. I build the five zones that answer your customer’s questions.

What he asks on the way

  1. 01
The lineclaimed: “Your partner for digital solutions.”proven: Sales development for technical B2B providers.

    What is this?

    The fold
  2. 02
The proofclaimed: “Years of experience, the highest quality.”proven: Page 1 for “B2B sales agency Cologne”.

    Is that true?

  3. 03
The scopeclaimed: “Individual concepts for every sector.”proven: Its own page for every service and town.

    Is this for me?

  4. 04
The priceclaimed: “Prices on request.”proven: €1,950 setup. €50 a month.

    What does it cost?

  5. 05
The stepclaimed: “Feel free to get in touch any time.”proven: Fifteen minutes, straight from the calendar.

    And now what?

Below this, only somebody who understood the line above reads on.

02 — The five zones

01 — The line

The first line decides. The rest is an addendum.

Above the fold there is one line, and it has to say two things: what you do and who for. If it states a quality instead of a service, your customer has to read on to work out what you actually sell. Most of them do not.

One service and one audience. Not three qualities.

02 — The proof

Anyone can claim it.Almost nobody proves it.

Straight under the line comes the question of whether it is true. A figure answers it. A project name with a date answers it. A face with a surname answers it. Adjectives do not answer it, however many of them are printed there.

A figure, a name, a date. Three lines are enough.

03 — The scope

Made for everyone.So for nobody.

Whoever offers everything is found for nothing. Your customer searches for one service in one place, and the search engine looks for a page about exactly that. So every service gets an address of its own instead of a line in a list.

One question per page. One page per question.

04 — The price

The question comes anyway.Better it is answered.

At this height your customer is working out whether they can afford it. A figure answers that, so does a range, and so does the smallest thing that can be booked. Naming nothing moves the question into an email most people never write.

A figure, a reference point, cancellable monthly.

05 — The step

One action per page. Not seven to choose from.

At the end there is exactly one action, and it is as small as it can be. A calendar with free slots is smaller than a form with nine fields, and both are smaller than asking somebody to get in touch some time.

The more routes there are, the fewer people take one.

03 — The turn

The design is not the problem.

Most sites are built perfectly well. What they are missing is not design but material: a figure, a name, a date, an amount, a next step. Without it every zone stays a nicely set placeholder.

A typical paragraphNone of it can be checked.

“As your reliable partner” “we offer you holistic solutions from a single source.” “With many years of experience and a motivated team” “we accompany you as equals into the digital future.” “Individual, sustainable and always on the pulse.”

What belongs in it

  • a line
  • a figure
  • a name
  • an amount
  • a step

The website is the frame. The content is what stands in it. Both are one job, because a frame with nothing in it is a template.

04 — The evidence

One client, checkable. The address is printed.

A page that demands proof owes one itself. Here it is, with a name and an address.

A B2B sales agency in Cologne that could not be found for its core search. The rebuild followed the order of this page: the line first, then the evidence, then an address per service. You can check the ranking by typing the term in, and the client counts the enquiries himself.

Reported by Carpantier Consulting, as of September 2026. One client, not an average.

05 — What stays

The scope varies. The terms do not.

A site with four subpages and one with forty cost the same, as long as every subpage answers a question somebody actually types. What changes is the amount of copy I write. What does not is set out here.

06 — The page plan

The plan comes first. The build comes after.

Which pages get built is decided before the first draft. Each answers one question, and every one below is a page you can read right now.

6 kinds of page, each with one question.

  1. 01The home pageWhat is this, and who for? This home page
  2. 02The services pageWhat is there, what does it cost? This services page
  3. 03The service pageWhat exactly is this one thing? You are here
  4. 04The evidence pageHas this worked before? This projects page
  5. 05The knowledge pageDoes he know what he is doing? This knowledge section
  6. 06The contact pageHow do I start?This contact page

You need something that is not on the list.

A shop, a customer area behind a login, an application behind the site: those are separate services with a scope of their own and are listed in the schedule. What is sold here is the presence.

07 — The objections

What you are thinking. And what I say to it.

Four sentences that come up at this point. The first part of every answer concedes them.

  1. “We only rebuilt it two years ago.”

Then the engineering is probably fine. The question is a different one: is there a figure, a name, a date, an amount anywhere on it. Usually not, and a second rebuild changes nothing about that.

    • Check what stands
    • Content, not a rebuild
    • Zone by zone
  2. “We would rather write the copy ourselves.”

Good, because you know the work. I write the structure and the first draft, you strike out what is wrong on the substance. That is four rounds of feedback instead of an empty page.

    • First draft from me
    • Four rounds
    • Your words
  3. “Seven days sounds like a template.”

The suspicion is fair, fast usually means identical. The seven days run from the sign-off of the positioning, and that takes two weeks. It is there that what sets your site apart is made.

    • Two weeks before
    • Seven days of build
    • No page builder
  4. “We have no figures to show.”

Almost nobody has them at the start. Figures are not the only kind of proof either: a project name with a date, a quote with a surname and a page that loads instantly are checkable too.

    • Names, not figures
    • A date with it
    • Checkable
The long answersFour questions
01 — Objection

What you have is read first, not replaced. I go through the five zones and write down which of them carries an answer and which only carries a placeholder. Often three out of five do, and then the job is a different one: the positioning, the evidence and a page per service, on top of what you already have. A complete rebuild pays off when the site is slow, does not work on a phone, or sits in a page builder the content cannot be got out of. I say which it is in the first call, and hearing it costs you nothing.

Check what standsContent, not a rebuildZone by zone
02 — Objection

The commonest way a website project stalls is a folder of empty text fields and a request to fill them in. So the first draft comes from me, out of the kick-off and out of what you say on the phone anyway when somebody asks what you do. You read and strike. What is wrong on the substance you change; what sounds foreign you mark, and I rewrite it. Four rounds of feedback are planned in, spread across the schedule, and none of them takes longer than an hour.

First draft from meFour roundsYour words
03 — Objection

What is fast is the build, not the decision. What takes time is the question of who you actually work for and how anybody would recognise it, and two weeks are set aside for that. After that the build is a craft process: the structure stands, the copy stands, the bands get filled. What is identical is the load time, the markup for search engines and the shape of a service page, and those are exactly the places where being different does harm. What differs is everything the page says.

Two weeks beforeSeven days of buildNo page builder
04 — Objection

A proof is anything somebody outside can go and check. A client name with a year counts, a quote with a first and last name, a quantity, a term, an accreditation, a public profile. Where none of that exists yet, the presence starts with whatever can be evidenced fastest: how long the firm has existed, how many people work on it, how quickly somebody answers. The figures arrive after the first months, because every enquiry comes in with its source and so becomes countable.
