01 — Trades
Between a sink and a fuse box nobody gets to the phone.
CoderConda's AI phone assistant for the trades takes the calls that come in while the work is being done, for €495 one-off, then €25 a month. It records what a quote needs: measurements, scope, budget and a time for the call back.

02 — The day
The same working day. A different evening.
The call comes while both hands are busy, and that is not going to change. What changes is how much of it is waiting on your phone in the evening.
Without the assistantno names
- 07:40First call in the vanHands-free, site noise, no notepad. Nobody remembers the measurements until the next set of lights.
- 11:15Second call under a sinkIt rings in a jacket pocket in the next room. You notice it once the fittings are connected.
- 19:30Going through the list in the eveningTwo calls without names. An enquiry or a cold caller, impossible to tell.
- In the evening there is no record.

- 12:00Lunch break, two minutesThe morning’s enquiries are read. Anything urgent gets a call back straight away, the rest waits.

03 — The comparison
A part-time office job can do more. It also costs more.
And at nine in the evening it is at home. The table puts the assistant next to the alternative a company really has, and leaves in the rows where the office job comes out better.
| Part-time in the office | Assistant | |
|---|---|---|
| Available | During office hours | Around the clock, Saturdays too |
| Knows the customers | Very well after a few months | Knows the question set, not people |
| Writing quotes | Can take that over | Only records the details for one |
| Sick leave or holiday | Cover is gone | Keeps running |
| Monthly cost | A salary plus overheads | A monthly price with 60 minutes of calls, cancel monthly |
04 — The scope
Different questions for each trade. No unchecked promises.
Which details a quote needs depends on the trade. The question set is built with you before the first call arrives, and that is where the real work sits.
- Plumbing
- Electrics
- Roofing
- Painting
- Landscaping
What gets set up04
- 01The details a quote is built from in that trade: measurements, existing installation, access, timing
- 02The company’s emergency keywords: burst pipe, power cut, storm damage
- 03Call-back windows after hours, so the assistant makes no promise that cannot be kept
- 04Handover as a WhatsApp message to the phone and an email to the office
Where it holds back03
- PricesIt commits to no price. It records the caller’s budget, nothing more.
- AppointmentsIt only books where a calendar is connected and you have given the go-ahead.
- EmergenciesIt holds no conversation, it forwards the call. Otherwise it would be the most expensive wait of the day.
05 — The questions
Three questions. Three short answers.
01Does it work with site noise at the other end?
The noise is usually on the company’s side, not the caller’s, because they are at home or in an office. If somebody does call from a loud place, the assistant asks again and marks in the record what it could not make out with certainty.
02Is it worth it with three people in the company?
That turns on the number of missed calls, not on the size of the company. After the first week that number is in the log. Until then any answer is a guess.
03Can it put appointments in my calendar?
Yes, where a calendar is connected. Without one it records the requested time as a detail, and the appointment is confirmed during the call back.
06 — Appointment
Pick a time.Fifteen minutes.
I tell you in the call whether the assistant is worth it for your company. If not, I say that too.
