Case study · Telephony · Voice agent

A phone front desk answers around 150 calls a week.

One week · one stroke per callaround 150

The figure is my own statement. Every stroke is the same, because how the calls split between note, appointment and transfer is not evidenced on this page.

Checkable
The number can be called on the first call.

The four rungs are explained on the Work page.

What happens to a call nobody picks up.

  1. 01

The call goes to the number the caller knows.

  2. 02

    Nobody answers.

    • No answer after a few seconds
    • Busy
    • Phone switched off
  3. 03

Conditional call forwarding sends it to a second number.

German mobile numbers cannot be ported to an internet provider, so the agent runs on a second number. The caller notices nothing and still dials only the one number they know.

  4. 04

The agent establishes what the caller wants. The call then ends one of three ways.

    • NoteThe matter is put on record.
    • AppointmentBooked from the approved calendar.
    • TransferPut through only when it is urgent.
  5. 05

The report appears in the chat.

    • Who called
    • What it was about
    • How long
    • What was agreed

Control

One short command in the same chat switches between three operating modes.

Each mode can be time-limited and falls back on its own afterwards.

  • answer and put through
  • take a note only
  • short announcement

How a call sounds

On the first call I ring the number and you hear what a caller hears.

You arrange the first call through Contact.

no evidence05

  • Around 150 calls a week

My own figure, as of September 2026. No evaluation that you could look at underlies this page.

  • The split between note, appointment and transfer

    Not stated here.

  • Where it runs

No business is named, and there is no figure for how many there are.

  • What a call brings in

No figure for appointment rate or revenue.

  • The real thread

It contains the names and numbers of callers and is therefore not on this page.

Who built it.

I did, from start to finish. First for my own number, then as a product that I set up for each business with the information that business supplies.

Who is behind it is described on the Agency page.
